Gift for Defia (Cross Stich)

23rd September was Defia’s birthday. Before that day, I don’ have any idea to give her a gift. I’m not sure for surprising her. But simply idea comes into my head suddenly before d-day. Yes, I made a simply design, and then execute this design with cross stitch.

I use the materials that I have in my house. I don’t want to buy any kind of materials anymore because I’m too lazy to get out of the house to buy anything. It was very very crowded outside. So I want to give her my handmade stuff.

I use soft colors and there was a picture of a bird. It represents that she still like a little bird that can’t flying yet. So do I. and inside this graph, there is a deeply wish that someday she (so do I) will fly all around and see the other side of this world. It mean for our brighter future. And there was a simply typograph of her name.

DIY Laptop Case with Cross Stitch

Today, I’ve finished a project.
I made laptop case for my own laptop.
I found clothes in my house, and then I want it to be my laptop case.
I measure without ruler. I just believe in my vision. Hahaha :d
In order to be more interesting, I’ve thank to add cross stitch ornament on this case.
I made deer pattern by my self.
After that, I cut all the materials, and then sew it also by my self.
And here is the result.

Toy Camera Cross Stitching

Long vacation – I have too much time to do something!
So many ideas here in my head but I just can do it one by one because I just have two hands.
(hope someday I can have additional hands to help me doing anything)
I wanna tell you that I’ve just made cross stitching again.
This is for second time.
BUT.. this is my own pattern.
It was easy to made. We can use adobe photoshop and then treat the picture with pixelate mozaiq effect.
You can find the tutorial in google (maybe)
But I have tutorial from CRAFT magazine brought to me by Intan.
After this, I wanna get this cross stitch into frame and then be my room ornament.
Just enjoy the result. See yah! ^^

Experiment framing mixed with film swapping
Yes! It was an experimental framing.
I used old film to make it. I cut just its holes for some centimeters long
And then I put it like in the picture.

And then, I wanna tell you little about one of my friend named Yogie.
He was from Jambi Province. It locate far away from Jogjakarta.
It is in Sumatera Island.
He did photograph with 35mm film too.
And one day I met him, I ask him to make film swapping project. And he agree!
And my project will come true. First film swapping with other. Hahaha..
He just used his 35mm film to capture something in Jambi.
And I use this film with my camera to capture Jogjakarta.
And if I have to make a formula, it will appear like this.

(yogie + unknown nikkon analogue camera + 35mm fujifilm 400/36 + in Jambi)
+
(ojan + wide slim Superheadz camera + same film + in Jogjakarta)
And these are the results. I only do crooping and little brightness editing.

Film swapping project with Mas Ilham
Mas Ilham trust me to do film swapping! Ahay! ^^
Mas Ilham was a good man from Bontang, It is a rich region in Indonesia.
It locate in Kalimantan Island.
He agree to do film swapping project with me.

I try to use Lomo Supersampler camera
One of my friend from another Island named Wandirana.
He was a professional stage photographer.
He has a 35mm lomo camera. Its Supersampler.
I borrow it from him! I just want to try to use it!
I used 35mm fujifilm 400/24

A new camera has come!
Last Saturday on Sept 13, My new camera has come to my house.
I bought it with my own money.
I can’t describe how I feel.
I really satisfy!
The camera : VistaQuest VQ-1005 Nico Digi by Superheadz.
This is mini capture camera. Its so cute!
It was very popular not in Indonesia. Hahaha :D
so I really excited to buy it!
